Recruiting a Research Assistant

The post-holder will coordinate action research on the Data Informed Platform for Health (DIPH), a district-level data-sharing, evidence-based decision-making, planning and resource allocation initiative, which aims to promote Maternal, Newborn and Child Health.
The successful applicant will have a Master’s degree in public health or a related discipline, experience of working with Ethiopian health systems, documented experience of managing teams and research projects, excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the ability to communicate and negotiate at all levels, evidence of writing research reports and scientific publications, proven ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and written, ability to fluently speak and read Amharic.
This full-time post is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for the period from 18th March 2019 to 30th June 2020.
